Regents Exams
Date: June 17-25th, 2014
Who: Students at NY Public High Schools, Middle Schools, and some participating private/independent schools
The June session of Regents testing runs for almost two full weeks, Tuesday through the following Wednesday, with rating day on Thursday. Scheduled exams are as follows:
Tuesday, June 17:
Morning: U.S. History & Government
Afternoon: Living Environment
Wednesday, June 18:
Morning: Global History & Geography
Afternoon: Algebra 2/Trigonometry
Thursday, June 19:
Morning: Comprehensive English
Afternoon: Physical Setting/Earth Science
Friday, June 20:
Morning: Integrated Algebra
Afternoon: Geometry, Physical Setting/Physics
Monday, June 23:
Morning: RCT in Global Studies
Afternoon: RCT in Reading
Tuesday, June 24th:
Morning: Physical Setting/Chemistry, RCT in Science
Afternoon: RCT in U.S. History & Government
Wednesday, June 25th:
Morning: RCT in Writing
Afternoon: RCT in Mathematics
Note: morning testing begins at 9:15am; the afternoon gets going at 1:15pm. In both cases Uniform Admissions Deadlines are 45 minutes later. Big day to be on time!
So, fun for everyone this week! It's a high stress time for teachers and students alike. We urge students to get good rest, take the tests seriously, and then get back to real life.
