Deadline Date: June 14, 2014

Who: Students applying to U.S. colleges and universities for entrance in Fall '15

Where: Dozens of high schools in NYC. Use the ACT's Test Center Search to find out if your school administers the exam or to find another location near you. Note that when you search by city, "New York" returns results for Manhattan. Enter "Brooklyn," "Bronx" or "Staten Island" and you'll get results for those boroughs. Inconveniently enough though, for Queens locations, you'll have to enter a specific region (e.g. Flushing, Jamaica, etc.).

What You Need In Order To Register: Student's name, address, email, phone, birthday, a digital photo of the test-taker (details here), a valid credit card and 2nd/3rd choice locations/dates in case your preferred site is filled.
 

This is the last day to register for the June 14th ACT administration without paying a $22 late fee. The late registration period continues for another two weeks, until May 23rd. After the last registration deadline, Waitlist Testing may be available up until eight days before the test, but this is on a very limited basis. Each successive deadline includes an additional fee. Obviously, we do NOT think you should risk delaying your registration; New York City test centers very often fill up by the regular deadline. Indeed, at this point, you should be prepared to find out that your preferred dates or locations are fully booked. Finally, we highly recommend registering online, versus submitting a paper registration by mail. Creating an online profile now will allow you to browse available test sites in real time and, later in the process, modify your score reporting preferences.
